When we started AnA Photography, we didn’t set out to hit a specific number. Our goal was simply to do a job we loved, and to provide families in Cornwall and beyond with a safe, calm, and professional environment to capture their earliest memories.

Reaching 700 newborn sessions isn’t about being the ‘biggest’ or the ‘busiest’. To us, it represents 700 times a parent has handed us their most precious world and said, “I trust you”.

That trust is something we never take for granted. Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, we know the immense responsibility that comes with handling a newborn.

• Safety is a Science (and a Team Effort): Every pose we do is rooted in years of specialist training. For us, newborn safety isn’t just a checklist – it’s a foundation of everything we do.
  This why we have always made the dedicated choice to always work as a team during our newborn sessions. We believe, and our training suggests, that having two sets of trained hands and two pairs of eyes on your baby at all times allows for the highest possible level of care.While Ant is focusing on capturing the perfect angle and lighting, Aimiee is concentrating on posing your baby in the most comfortable way for them, and also acts as a dedicated ‘spotter’. Never more than an arms length away for your little one. This team approach allows us to create those beautiful, sleepy poses with absolute confidence, ensuring your baby is supported, comfortable, and safe every single second they are in front of the lens.
• Patience is key: Every baby is different. Some sleep through the whole session; others need extra cuddles and feeding breaks. We work at the baby’s pace, always.
• Family Matters: Trust extends to the whole family. From making sure big siblings feel involved to ensuring tired parents can actually relax in our studio while we work – we’re here for all of you.
