Expecting a baby in Cornwall?

If you’re expecting a baby in Cornwall and are considering documenting your journey from bump to baby, you might be wondering when the best time is to get everything booked in. The short answer? Sooner rather than later.

We always recommend booking your Bump to Baby Package early in your pregnancy, anytime after your first scan. This gives you peace of mind that your due date is safely in our diary, and it also gives us plenty of time to chat through everything you need to know about both the maternity and newborn sessions.

For your maternity session, we generally aim for somewhere between 32 and 34 weeks. At this stage, your bump has a lovely shape, but you’re (hopefully) still feeling comfortable enough to enjoy the experience. It’s such a special way to mark this fleeting time before everything changes.

When it comes to the newborn session, we aim to photograph your baby within their first 21 days. During this early window, babies are often still wonderfully sleepy and curled up, which allows us to capture those soft, natural poses. Don’t worry — we don’t expect you to know your exact session date ahead of time. When you book, we’ll make a note of your due date in our diary, and then all you need to do is send us a quick message in the first few days after your baby arrives. We’ll then arrange your exact session time based on how things are going for you and baby. Parents, Older Siblings and even the family dog are more than welcome to join in with these sessions.
